Digital Ally Receives Orders for Over 900 DVM-500 In-Car Digital Video Rearview Mirror Systems from International Customers
ORDERS EXPECTED TO SHIP IN THIRD QUARTER OF 2008
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – Digital Ally, Inc. (Nasdaq: DGLY), which develops, manufactures and markets advanced video surveillance products for law enforcement, homeland security and commercial security applications, today announced that it has received orders totaling over 900 DVM-500 In-Car Digital Video Rearview Mirror Systems from international customers. The orders are expected to ship in the quarter ending September 30, 2008.
“We are very pleased to announce the receipt of a re-order for over 200 DVM-500 systems from an international law enforcement agency,” noted Stanton E. Ross, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Ally, Inc. “Upon delivery of this new order, we will have shipped over 3,000 DVM-500 systems to this customer in the past twelve months. In addition, we have received orders totaling approximately 700 units for DVM-500 systems that will be shipped to other new international customers before the end of our third quarter. We continue to expand our customer base both domestically and within a number of foreign countries. The percentage of contracts that we bid on which are eventually awarded to Digital Ally continues at a high level.”
The Company also reiterated its previous guidance that its revenue for the year ending December 31, 2008 is expected to increase more than 100% to approximately $40 million, when compared with 2007 revenue of $19.4 million.
