PoliceOne Member Photo of the Week: Excellent shot

Lt. Rick Arnold of the Loveland Police Department (Loveland, Colorado) took this shot at our recent firearms training and qualifications. The interesting thing about the photo is that it shows the muzzle blast, the open action of the weapon, the casing in the air, and the heat trail of the bullet as it strikes the target (small upper left bull's-eye), all in a split second shot. The shooter is Officer Katey McDonald.
